Zoe is creating a graphic comic titled “Towards the Stars," which is a re-imagining of Aesop's fable "The Dancing Monkeys." Zoe wanted to do something they felt passionate about and could continue after the semester is over. The comic deals with themes of confusion and doing the "right thing”.
Because Zoe has never worked with Photoshop or a drawing tablet before, the first half of the semester was used to get familiar with these tools. They are also looking forward to exploring publishing methods for this graphic novel. Propel has shown Zoe that it is good to do new things and get out of your comfort zone.
