Yoana came into Propel with the hope of creating art and conveying a message. After a week of researching, she decided to work on the topics of social media and technology. While she cannot remember a time where she did not have access to a computer, Yoana has observed that we are more dependent on technology than ever before.
Inspired by her thinking, Yoana has created and acrylic on canvas painting and four watercolour paintings. In the early stages of her semester, she opened up her project to collaboration. In the end, Yoana has worked with five other Propel students to create a multimedia collection of varying perspectives. She has titled the collaborative collection "HiveMind."
