Storm wrote and recorded an EP (Extended Playlist) consisting of four original songs using Fruity Loops Studio, and posted them on SoundCloud and YouTube. His EP fits into the Alternative Hip-Hop genre. He produced, wrote, mixed, and mastered all four of the songs. Storm came into Propel wanting to expand his knowledge on mixing and mastering, and he did just that.
Storm learned about using EQ, Reverb, Compression, and Auto-tune in the right way because he used to just “mess around” with it and whatever sounded good, sounded good…but now, with the knowledge he has gained, he has progressed a great deal in the mixing and mastering section of audio. He has also established his stage name “Stormy J” on SoundCloud, YouTube, and Instagram.
