Simone's project was the creation of five realistic portrait drawings and the writing of two blogs before and during each piece to discuss goals, feedback, improvements, etc.

Her principle goal was to bring realism to her drawings by paying high attention to detail and having a sense of depth to her pieces. Simone learned new techniques to apply to her drawings, such as using graphite pencils for shading, and the use of grids to obtain realistic proportions. Every piece contained a new art goal to achieve. She also created an Instagram account to post her final pieces.
