Maia - Original Play

Maia has been a lover of both writing and theatre her entire life. For her Propel project, she took it upon herself to write a four-character, one-act play with the intent that small acting groups and schools could perform it without difficulty finding enough actors. The plot of the play revolves around the ideas of independence and dependence on others, as well as familial love and post-death grieving. She plans to submit it to the Fringe Festival in 2017 – or use the skills she explored within the process to create more plays in the future.
