Savanaugh wrote and recorded four original songs with lyrics that held a special meaning to her. Throughout her time here, Savanaugh has learned what it takes to write a song and how one idea can light a fire of new ones. For the first few months, she had a rough idea about what her project might look like, but it wasn’t finalized until late October. Her goal was to be able to express herself through her music. Music has always been an outlet for her - a way to express what words can’t say.
Nearing the end of the semester, Savanaugh collaborated with a others in order to create the cover of her album and a physical copy. With colleagues such as Taryn Bowen, a photographer and Emma-Leigh Guay, a graphic designer, she now has pictures to go along with her songs.
