Jack spent his Propel semester preparing an article to be published in the Winnipeg Free Press. Starting with a research phase, Jack compiled a 20 page research paper on the topic of Provincial Standards Exams. After completing the paper, including MLA citations and a Works Cited, Jack met with Paul Samyn from the Winnipeg Free Press. When his article was given the green light, his next task was to meet a more concise word count. Jack’s article “Questioning the Vale of Provincial Exams” ran in the Winnipeg Free Press in June 2024.
