I’m Past it is a collection of poetry, short stories, and pictures showcasing my journey with mental health, gender identity, and sexuality. This was a very personal project for me not only because of the content within it, but because I have been able to fulfill my lifelong dream of printing a book I wrote myself.

This is my second go at Propel, and last semester I struggled a lot to stay focused and finish something I could be proud of. I produced a song I wasn’t happy with after failing to complete my initial writing goals. It was a bit of a disaster. Now, my mental health is better than ever. I’m thriving. I’m graduating in just a few short weeks—something I never thought I’d do. I am a winner.
