Mythical Moon Bar and Grill

I wanted to design a restaurant concept with enough depth in it that I could take the groundwork I laid and start up my own restaurant after high school. My project required that I gather 12 recipes and make revisions. I then had to run 4 days in the cafeteria where I would come in and cook the recipes I had gathered. I crafted feedback cards and prepared my dishes for peer review, asking for comments regarding flavour, texture, and presentation. Between cooking days, I collaborated with two students on separate parts of my project. I collaborated with Emma-Leigh Guay, a student working on video game design this semester. Together we created a logo for my restaurant. I collaboration with Grace MacPherson, a student working on a collection of doors that are themed around certain styles in fashion. I involved Grace in prototyping my uniform concepts.

I also wanted to run his restaurant as a pop-up in the school’s cafeteria. Starting this year, the cafeteria program is being run by students, so I reached out to Mr. Winters with a proposal. My proposal was accepted by Mr. Winters and we had a meeting where they agreed that I would run the cafeteria with my menu for three consecutive days.
