Wake Up Call

Lexie has developed, designed and created a 24 frames per second stop-motion film about mental health, featuring clay armatures as her characters. Lexie wanted to further her skills in stop motion and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. While Lexie wanted to create a professional quality looking film, she also wanted it to be meaningful and express her feelings towards mental health and how someone may experience depression, or another kind of mental health disability.

Lexie spent a fair amount of time designing her puppet and sculpting the face and body out of clay to make it as realistic as possible and to represent a human. Lexie also spent her time learning how to make a  set on a low budget, resulting in a "product box" that takes excellent photos at a low budget.
