Last year, I created a 2D animated short film, Dive. This year, I worked on two animation portfolios for post-secondary institutions, Seneca and Sheridan College. Propel gave me the opportunity to find a new passion and pursue a career that I am passionate about.

During the semester, I worked on a variety of pieces, such as perspective drawings, figures and gestures, character design, a short animation, and more technical drawings, such as the hand and object drawings. My goal with each drawing was to demonstrate the best of my artistic abilities and sensibilities, making sure each piece was of the desired quality. Not only did I considerably improve my draftsmanship, but I also learnt a lot about myself and the stories I wish to convey with my art.

Regardless of the results of my portfolio, I am proud of how far I’ve come and am eager for what lies ahead.
