Throughout my time in Propel, I have been honing my craft of animation, and creating a full, minute-long AMV, or animated music video. The video features my own original characters, Samson and Jericho, and tells (an admittedly highly-condensed and trimmed down version of) their story. Every character in the video is hand-drawn and animated frame-by-frame, and each background is painted digitally in Clip Studio Paint. Consistently managing to finish smaller projects while never pulling through with larger ones has always been something I wanted to work on in my 5+ years of animating, so I figured Propel would be a perfect opportunity to tackle a project of that proportion. Despite immense struggles with motivation, I managed to pull through and achieve something I never could have dreamed of at the start of the semester.
