Liam - Music Production
Liam wrote and recorded two original songs using GarageBand and posted them on SoundCloud and YouTube. To challenge his songwriting skills, he chose two different genres of songs to record: funk and indie. He created and sang the lyrics on these songs as well as played guitar, bass, and piano. He drew inspiration from indie bands like Grouplove and Young the Giant to craft his upbeat, feel-good style.
Liam also collaborated with classmates to further his songwriting skills. He worked with Janine Borwn, a poet, who helped him craft more meaningful lyrics, and Matt Nicol, a guitar player, who was a critical friend during the writing process and added lead and rhythm guitar riffs to his songs.
