At the beginning of the semester, Ashton proposed the idea of creating a short film to bring awareness to the issues surrounding domestic violence. As time went on, she elected to aim her project towards learning how to create the foundation of a film. The film was primarily going to be a monologue, so she created the script based on some of her previous work. Throughout the semester she also learned how to create a story board and a shot list, and added those pieces to the process. The semester is much too short to create both the foundation of the film and the film itself, so Ashton has decided to make the filming process into a personal project. Keep your ears open!
